Gilberto Hernández

A master printer, Gilberto Hernández learned silkscreening at the Graphics Workshop of the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture. 

In the early '70s he was one of the printers at the Galería Colibrí workshop.  In 1977 he moved to New York and joined the artists of the Taller Boricua group. 

He printed posters for the Museo del Barrio and was in charge of Gallery II of the Museum from 1977 to 1978.
